The art of hand lettering brings to life any project, invitation or correspondence. You'll learn the basics of calligraphy and then begin to develop a project featuring your own unique hand lettering style. Supply list available online. (4 Sessions)

  1. Speedball Calligraphy Project or Pen Set (*some store list it with different names but the set should include the following:
    4 C style pen nibs (C1, C2, C3, C4); 2 artist pen nibs (101, 512); 1 pen holder 
  2. Daler-Rowley Calligraphy Ink (Black or Brown) or any other brand of calligraphy or Indian ink (needs to be non-waterproof); another good ink to use is Moon Palace Sumi Ink via Amazon. 
  3. Biefang Calligraphy Practice pad or comparable brand with grid lines; graph paper could be used as well
  4. Tracing paper 
  5. Tombow Brush Markers (black and brown)
  6. Ruler with beveled edge  
  7. Two Pencils (H or 2H and an HB) 
  8. Paint Brush and cup for water 
  9. Eraser (white)
  10. Portable drafting board or make one with a piece of pressed board perched on a book (at least 24 inches by 20 inches)
