What if there is inclement weather?

If Columbia Public Schools is closed due to inclement weather, evening Adult Education classes will NOT be held. If conditions deteriorate during the day, please listen to local TV and radio stations for cancellation information after 4:00 pm. Participants in cancelled classes will be notified via email and phone if called off mid-day.  You will be contacted with the rescheduled information as soon as it is available.

What is the refund policy for short-term courses?

A withdrawal request received four or more working days prior to the start of class will be refunded less the following processing fees: $5 for course fees up to $99, $10 for course fees $100-$199, $15 for course fees over $200. A withdrawal request received three or fewer working days prior to the start of class will be refunded 50% of tuition. No shows will not receive reimbursement.

A full credit can also be given that expires one year from issuance.  

When will a class be cancelled?
Each class needs a minimum enrollment. If this minimum is not met two business days before the start date, the class may be cancelled. Policies, class and instructor information in our brochures are based on conditions at the time of printing and are subject to change.

What are your financial aid eligible programs?

The following programs qualify for federal financial aid funding: Massage Therapy, Practical Nursing, Surgical Technology and AWS Welding.  We accept all forms of financial aid including A+, VA, Pell Grant, and Federal Student Loans.
